New Jersey man accused of DWI following accident

On Aug. 16, New Jersey authorities reported that a man who was taken into custody was accused of driving while intoxicated. The incident occurred after he was accused of failing to pull over before crashing into several vehicles that were stopped due to a red light.

New Jersey teen gets two DUIs in 10 hours

According to law enforcement officers with the Toms River Police Department, a 19-year-old Toms River man was charged with two DUIs after he was involved in two separate accidents. In the second accident, the man allegedly fled the crash scene.

New Jersey law enforcement plans Labor Day DWI crackdown

State and local law enforcement agencies in New Jersey will be cracking down on drunk driving between August 21 and September 7. The national "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign was launched in 1999, and it targets drunk drivers during the busy summer travel season. Alcohol was a factor in 22 percent of New Jersey's road fatalities in 2013, and the goal of the campaign is to reduce the number of drunk driving deaths during peak travel times such as the Labor Day weekend.

Police say man charged for DUI didn't know where he was

A man in New Jersey was accused of driving drunk after police found him trying to change a tire on his car on July 25. The alleged drunk driving incident took place in the Chickahominy neighborhood of Greenwich at approximately 8:01 a.m. Police were called to a driveway along Hamilton Avenue when a report came in that the driveway was blocked.
